Brahma Sree K. R. NArayaNan (HaridAsa) was born in 1888 in Kuzhalmannam a village in Kerala. He took up a Government job in Rangoon in 1913. He further developed his passion for Classical Carnatic music and taught it to his students. After returning to India in 1942, he was able to devote all his freetime to Music. He composed several Krithis, VarNams and ThillAnas in Tamil, Sanskrit and Telugu. He himself had set the music to all his songs and has written them down with elaborate Swara and ThALa notations.
